I’ve been anticipating getting to share this wedding with you all week. Some of my favorite images I’ve ever taken or created were made on Jennifer and Jessie’s wedding day. They’ve been together for years and while their initial plan was to elope they decided to have a very small wedding with only their family present and then to return to Vic’s on the River to celebrate at dinner with their closest friends and family. What an incredible honor and joy it’s been not only to get to know Jennifer but to be included on such a special, beautiful and exciting day!
They found the sweetest loft that was once a church on airbnb. It made the perfect setting for pictures and added so much character and charm. I think we all decided we could totally live in this space- everyone that came through absolutely LOVED it!
They decided to meet one another at Forsyth park (literally 3 blocks from the loft) and then we traveled onto the Wormsloe National Park to “take pictures” oh- and get these two hitched! This was the most laid back and fun wedding ceremony I’ve ever been to. I loved that the focus was on the two of them and even when they got to the “alter” and realized the rings were left in the car everyone just laughed and waited. The vows got left behind but she didn’t sweat it and simply took out a sheet of paper and quickly wrote them down again on the front seat of the car. These two are truly a special pair and they’re surrounded by some pretty incredible people they’re lucky enough to call their family.
Enjoy this peek into their celebration and if you’d like to see more pictures or order prints of your own click here.
