Seeing families come together on a wedding day to love and support their children while also sending them into the next chapter of their lives together is one of the most beautiful stories and days to witness as a photographer. It’s the moments just after the the bride’s look is complete and her daddy sees her for the first time. It’s in those moments just before we head out the door for pictures they share together laughing, moments filled with tears of joy and love. It’s being witness to grandma in the background who can’t help but shed tears of joy as she sees her granddaughter on her own wedding day.
Sammie and Ralph’s day was no exception. Both surrounded by the love of their families and friends. My favorite moments were when her 97 year old grandma saw her for the first time and uttered “If only your granddaddy could see you now”, spending a few moments with Ralph’s family for their family pictures and seeing just how much fun they are! Oh and the perfect lipstick transfer- ever! (you’ll see below). Oh and I also loved getting to meet the parents of another one of my brides whose wedding is next month at this wedding!
