The part of a wedding day that most photographers might dread, I actually came to love, and that was the time I got to spend with the couple and their families doing the family portraits. Time passes quickly and what we often don’t pause for is creating a portrait that will stand the test of time. A family portrait that is not only beautiful but that also reflects and encompasses the personality, the love, and the relationship of the family.
Last Fall I spent an afternoon with this incredible family and we walked around Marietta Square before making our way to one of my favorite fields nearby. They hadn’t had a family portrait made since their kids were really young, and with their oldest getting ready to leave for college, mama knew this was not only a special but important time in their lives to be remembered.
Family Portraits for Your Walls
I really love it when families love their portraits so much they get excited to hang them in their homes! We created a large metal portrait for dad’s office with the portrait below, and though I’ve not seen it in person, they were absolutely thrilled with the result!

Family portraits don’t have to be stressful and I believe the portraits created deserve to be preserved in ways they can be enjoyed each and everyday for years to come.
If it’s been a few years, it’s never too early to consider getting on the list for your own Family Portrait session this Fall! Weekend dates go fast and early! Simply inquire or shoot me an email for more details or with questions about doing your own family portrait session!

Tessa,
Thanks for capturing our family so wonderfully! You have a sweet spirit and put us at ease in front of the camera so quickly. We really had so much fun!

I love it when people get together and share ideas.
Great blog, continue the good work!
Hi there it’s me, I am also visiting this website regularly, this site is
truly good and the visitors are really sharing nice thoughts.
I think the admin of this site is truly working hard in favor of
his site, for the reason that here every data is quality based information.
Superb blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m
a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform
like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed ..
Any recommendations? Thank you!
